Following a rigorous Health, Safety and Environment audit carried out by Laing O`Rourke, Powerrun Project Management Ltd has been approved to undertake mechanical installation works for Laing O`Rourke Infrastructure for a period of 3-years. Our Key Contractor Accreditation status follows the successful completion of various Pipework Fabrication and Mechanical Installation projects for Laing O`Rourke as part of their Yorkshire Water AMP4 Framework agreement. The recent subcontract works with a combined value in excess of £750K included schemes at Nutwell W.T.W and Harrogate South & Knostrop W.w.T.W.

Phase 2 of the Coppermills W.T.W. scheme is now underway with the Powerrun site team currently installing the lower manifold section of the new Shaft D Pump Station pipework. This phase of the works, which is due to run until March of next year comprises of 1800/1400 diameter mild steel FBE coated pipework with associated control valves and pump sets.  

Birse Coastal - Bl...
Birse Coastal has recently awarded us a pipework supply and mechanical installation package as part of the £70-million Blackpool Sea Defences Scheme. The project comprises of 600/400 diameter discharge pipework fabrication and associated mechanical installation including 6 number Flygt type electro-submersible pump sets, valves and inlet penstocks for the newly constructed Intermediate and Manchester Square Pump Stations. Completion of the works is expected to be in December of this year.

Powerrun Project Management Ltd operates a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO9001: 2008

The Certificate of Approval, issued through TUV UK Quality Assurance Ltd covers the design, fabrication, welding and site installation of process pipework, structural steelwork and general engineering fabrication, predominantly in carbon and stainless steel materials.

The Quality System, which is subject periodic audit and review together with an openly encouraged company culture of continuous improvement, ensures that we provide a first-class design, fabrication and on-site mechanical installation service to the UK and overseas water industry.

Carbon and stainless steel pipework is manufactured by time served fabrication engineers coded to BS EN 287 and BS EN 288 standards and our finished product undergoes internal staged in-manufacture and final inspection prior to despatch.
