Last month saw us export approximately 25 tonnes of galvanised mild steel vent pipes, access ladders and pipework supports as part of the ongoing Great Man Made River Project in Libya. The order, with a value in excess of £200K is the second of 3 recent consignments with the final shipment due in September of this year. Following our successful completion of the Phase 1 works, Laing O’Rourke Utilities have recently awarded the Yorkshire Water Services Knostrop Phase 2 pipework supply and installation subcontract to Powerrun Project Management Ltd. The latest scheme, which is to be supplied and installed over the next 3-months comprises of 1200/800 diameter discharge pipework for 3 x submersible RAS pump sets, 4 sets of 600/500 diameter de-sludge chamber pipework, 3 sets of 900/800 pipework for the ASP conversion launder channel and 1 x 2000mm diameter x 90-degree special duckfoot bend. Combined, Phases 1 & 2 have an order value in excess of £400K.
